Vacation Bible School
About VBS .......
Vacation Bible School takes place each year for 1 week during the summer.
VBS includes scripture study, applications of Bible stories, singing praise songs, prayer, fellowship and engaging in arts and crafts.
Older children study the scriptures, perform skits and dramas, and assist with VBS
VBS offers children a chance to deepen their understanding of the Faith,
engage in fellowship with like-minded children and receive nurturing and spiritual guidance.
It allows children a chance to engage in wholesome activities.
Parents consider the religious component of primary importance,
especially for older children, and like programs that have more structured bible studies.
For other parents, the most important thing is the socialization of their children,
and the interpersonal skills they will develop in the vacation bible school setting.
Children instinctively like being around other children,
and this allows most kids the opportunity for a great deal of fun, along with some education, too.
